Biomass Energy

Biomass is produced by an organic byproduct from plant or animal waste. Biomass can be used for: heating, cooking, electricity and transportation. However, today biomass only creates about 9% of the energy needs within Australia. Biomass can be a renewable source of energy if the resources are not used faster than they can be regenerated.
