Solar Energy

 

Solar energy is the world's largest energy source. Remember, that it is the sun which provides light and heat to the planet. Many scientists would tell you that without the sun, life would cease to exist on Earth! Currently solar energy is used in three ways within Australia: solar thermal hot water, solar thermal electricity and photovoltaics (these are cells which are used to convert sunlight directly into electricity).
