The following resources should help jumpstart your research. You will need to branch out from these resources to thoroughly understand your topic and design your legislation. Remember to use human resources as well; if you see an individual has done a considerable amount of work in the area, feel free to call him or her and ask for information or advice. Also, don't forget the invaluable guidance your law librarians can provide during a research project.
Team 2: Veterans’ Diversion Court Team 2 will research the veterans’ diversion court, a separate court system or advocacy program to address the unique rehabilitation needs of combat veterans in the criminal justice system, and propose legislation to develop a veterans’ court system or advocate system in Montana.
