webquest was developed for students in Year 6 (Stage 3, New South Wales, Australia) within
the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. These students are in their last year of
Primary (Elementary) schooling and are normally aged 11 - 12 years.
The webquest was developed for the Catholic
Schools Office, Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle for Unit 7: The Story of God's People,
Section 4 - The Prophets and the Exile.
This webquest could easily be adapted for
students in Years 7 - 8 studying Prophets in the Hebrew Scriptures or focusing on Prophets
today.
Students in other countries could easily
use this webquest - particularly activities 1 - 3, and 5. Activity 4 focuses on Prophets
in Australia today or in Australian History. Teachers in other countries would need to
adapt Activity 4 to suit their own situation. |
