Drama: There's a rat in my soup! or Basil the Rat

1. Watch the episode of Fawlty Towers called "Basil the Rat" (Fawlty Towers - Manuel and the rat - John Cleese exclusive BBC interview)

2. You are to remake this episode with some different ideas but the main character is to be Manuel, the waiter!

3. You are to allocate the following characters:

John Cleese's character, Basil Fawlty
Sybil, his wife
the waiter Manuel
Polly the waitress
and Terry the chef.

These characters will be joined by someone playing the health inspector.

What to do:

1. Together, write an exciting, fun scene involving these characters after you have viewed this episode of Fawlty Towers.

2. Act out the script you have just made.
