Tamara
Fit and healthy, ok looking.
I like my own company
I have some kids I talk to but no one that I would call a best
friend.
I don’t really get involved. I go to school then go home.
I am so focussed on getting the best education I can that I tend not
to involve myself in Community work.
I’m not much of a joiner. I tend to like activities I can do on my
own such as jogging and horse riding.

Money?

Money is fairly important. I can see the importance of
paying your own way when you reach the stage where you are
an adult. |

Possessions?
|
I believe it is important to have respect for possessions
whether they are your own or someone else’s. |

Religion?
|
Religion is a personal choice thing. I don’t see that it is
relevant in relation to my career decisions. |

Marriage?
|
I don’t really think I’m the marrying type of person. I
can’t imagine that I could cope with sharing my space with
someone else. |

Politics?
|
Politics is a vital part of our everyday lives but most
young people don’t think about it. I do but not a great
deal. |
I am really conscious of being kind to others- probably because
my brother isn’t.
In an ideal world what would be
your 5 year plan?
I would like to have finished a University degree.
What things are standing in the way of achieving this?
I am unclear as to what type of degree I want, or even what I want
to do.
What might be some of the solutions?
Do some research, talk to a Careers Counsellor.
How will you support yourself if you decide on further training
after school?
It depends where I have to go to study. If I get into a Uni near
home I will stay at home. I f I have to leave home I will have to
get a part time job and hope I qualify to get independent Youth
Allowance.
Mum and Dad are good parents. They have always encouraged us to do
our best. That hasn’t been important to my older brother. He dropped
out of school and has made no attempt to get a job. It is really
difficult sometimes because he is abusive and even violent at times.
The fighting makes it tough to get any study done.
What is important as far as values go?
Being honest and hard working are the most important things as far
as values go.
