Communication
I like to talk
but not necessarily in public.
Negotiation
I’m
negotiating my future with Granddad at the moment. I don’t
think I’ll win. He’s a pretty tough nut to crack!
Numerical
I’m not bad at
Maths and can see that you have to be able to do the sums if
you want to be a successful farmer.
Technological
Granddad
says you have to keep up with the times and that new
technology is the future of farming. So I guess I will make
sure I will keep up with my Computing studies and get
familiar with the latest farming software.
Social
We socialise
in the local community and I often have friends from school
come to stay at Granddad’s. Mum and Dad don’t encourage us
to have friends stay at the pub.
Physical
I keep
pretty fit. I play Union at school and ride horses as often
as I can. Being a rural school means I can take my horse if
we pay for it’s stabling.
Creative
Not my thing.
Leadership
I stand up
for issues if I have to. I’m Captain of the Rugby team at
School.
Practical
I can manage
most of the jobs that need to be done round the place.
Granddad’s been a really good teacher.
Home duties
I don’t do
too much in the house, but I do a fair bit outdoors.
Riding and Rugby
