Communication I am a fairly articulate person. I can speak confidently in front of a group of people (in normal circumstances). I write reasonably well. I am very good at diagrams and sketches which is part of communicating ideas.
Negotiation I try to avoid conflict as it stresses me out. I see the value of being able to negotiate. We reach compromises at home when there is any kind of disagreement.
Numerical Maths is one subject I struggle with a bit. I need to be able to have a reasonable level of Maths for anything relating to design.
Technological I have become pretty good with the Computer. I really love to use CAD to do designs and 3D drawings. It really is a great tool.
Social I have a few close friends who have been really supportive over the past couple of years. Some people really back off when a mental illness is involved. Jess and Maddy have been terrific. We do things together. We sometimes go to parties- not many though. Maddy has gotten into pottery with me.
Physical I haven’t been really into sport and so on over the years. I’m much more a reader and an indoor type. But I have learned the importance of physical activity when dealing with mental illness and have joined a dragon boat racing club which gives me exercise, fresh air, water and people.
Creative Pottery. It’s great and I’m not bad at it.
Leadership I don’t think I’m a leader really. I tend to sit back and watch things and only get involved if I have to.
Practical I don’t mind getting in and doing things like the garden if necessary. Anyone who does pottery doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty.
Home duties We are expected to tidy our rooms and to wash up after dinner. Helping do some jobs on the weekend is also fairly normal.

I guess you’d count the pottery and drawing as talents. I am preparing a portfolio of designs to support my application for Uni.

Casual work:
I do some afternoons at the Deli in Woolworth’s. It is a pretty easy job and doesn’t pay too badly.

Work Experience:
I did work experience in a company that does plans and drawings for builders. It was really cool to see how the job is done in the real world.
