I guess in
my group I am a leader which has its ups and downs. I like
being able to influence the boys but it gets me into trouble
in class. Dad believes that it is better to be a leader than
a follower.
Practical
I am heaps
good at woodwork and things like that. I also love tinkering
with my Dad and my mates cars.
Home duties
Mum and my
little sister basically do everything in the house. It’s
more of a cultural thing than a sexist thing. Sometimes I
offer to help in the yard with Dad.
I am a pretty good soccer player and made representative last year,
I am also a pretty good driver and I think I am good at woodwork and
carpentry.
Casual work:
I don’t have to get a job because Mum and Dad give me any money I
need. They want me to focus on completing school as well as I can.
Work Experience: I did work experience last year with a
panel beater, but didn’t really enjoy that.

Parent's expectation of you: Dad would be really happy if I
decided to become a builder and then join him in the business. I
think he’d love to add “& Son” to his business name.
