Communication I am fairly quiet so I don’t say much and I don’t like being the centre of attention. I do like to write and I am really good at writing essays in English.
Negotiation I avoid confrontation as far as I can. I don’t like to fight so mostly negotiation consists of me avoiding conflict.
Numerical I am not too bad at Maths. It’s not my favourite subject but as I do Business Management, I wouldn’t rule out something like Accountancy as a possible future profession.
Technological I handle computers fairly well. I manage to do all the stuff I need to do for school.
Social I have a few close friends that I’ve known since Primary school. Kate and Emily are really nice and come around sometimes. Some of their other friends give them a hard time because they don’t think I’m “cool”
Physical Reasonably fit. I participate in what I have to do at school as far as PE and school sports carnivals - but only to get House points! I play tennis on weekends - this is mainly social.
Creative I love anything creative. I can do lots of things like cooking, cake decorating, sewing, drawing. I also love to write children’s stories and illustrate them. I did one for my young cousins for Christmas last year. They loved it.
Leadership I’m not a leader type person. I’m much happier if I can work on my own. I don’t really work well in groups because I get so tied up in knots worrying what people are thinking of me.
Practical The creative practical things like cooking, sewing and drawing etc are what I am good at. Mum says I’ll make someone a wonderful wife one day. Ha Ha!
Home duties We have always had to pull our weight in the house. Mum and Dad both work hard so Joanne and I share some of the jobs in the house. Joanne tries to get out of her share. She hates to clean and cook.

The things I mentioned like cooking, sewing, drawing and writing are talents I suppose.

Casual work:
I got a part-time job working in a dress shop for one of Mum’s friends (her CWA network) I get to change the window for her every week. That is the best part of the job.

Work Experience:
I did Work Experience in an Accountancy Practice during Year 10. It was really good. I think doing your own thing is really good.
