Communication
I am I guess reasonably articulate. My family always call me
motor-mouth because I love having conversations with anyone
and everyone.
Negotiation
I would much prefer to talk my way out of circumstances than
fight my way out. I don’t really ever put myself in a
position where I need to negotiate. That’s not to say that I
get trodden on.
Numerical
I really have to work to do well in Maths. In my family's
culture, it is really important to work hard and to achieve.
Technological
I am not into sitting at computers, but will if I have to.
The only real technology I touch is my music equipment and
mixer. That’s all I need or want to be involved with. Mum
also insisted that I get a mobile phone because I am barely
home.
Social
I have so much going on and whatever social life I can get,
I love to get. I am looking forward to being 18 so that I
can unwind after work with some friends at a bar or
something (even if my parents don't approve).
Physical
I take care of myself and play hockey. I am always on the
go, so perhaps I don’t eat as well as I should.
Creative
I am probably much more creative rather than practical. I
love writing music when I can and music is my creative
outlet.
Leadership
I am a good leader. I don’t do it often but when I do it, I
am pretty good.
Practical
I probably wouldn’t know how to change a light bulb, but
that’s ok because I’m not an electrician. When it comes to
working in the kitchen though, I am your man. I use the
skills which I am good at and don’t bother with the rest.
Home duties
My parents don’t expect much of me because of my work
commitments. In fact sometimes when I arrive home, I find
that my room is clean and washing done. Mum really make it
easy for me to do what I want/need to do.
Good at European and Vietnamese cooking
(as a result of my Vietnamese background) and at playing
guitar, good at saving, very adaptable, a hard worker, friendly and
a good conversationalist, understanding and versatile.
Casual work: I am
working currently at Dad's restaurant in the city. I also help
my friend's Dad on the weekends to do some labouring as he is a
landscaper.
Work Experience: I did work experience in the kitchen of The Hyatt Hotel. This
is what switched me on to wanting to become a chef plus having the
family business to work in.
