WORKSHOP - PRODUCTION CREW - VIDEO - PHOTO - AUDIO - PRINT

YOUR PRODUCT

A video, photographic and audio record of the development of the above other business products. This is an essential product and one team has to undertake it.

One of your final products will be the record of this WebQuest Project.

You will also have a business as well - a Multimedia Business where you will sell your services as experts in making Videos, or Short Films, or become a Photographic or Audio Studio.

YOUR TASK

Your job will be to learn how to use the video, digital camera and audio equipment to record what happens each week in the other groups.

You will edit the final product so the community can see what you all have been doing.

You will help the other groups as well - especially the group making the Audio story books, Jigsaws and the cookbook.

However, even though this team will be recording the other teams and their progress, you will also be making your own business - a Multimedia Business.

GETTING STARTED

Here are some ideas to help you along the way......to running "My Business Rules"

Indigenous film-makers are achieving excellence at Global Awards. Organisations like BIG hART might be able to help you get started in Video or Film - You will have to decide!

You would have to be very clear about what you wanted to do so you could put a proposal to either the Australian Film Commission or BIG hART for funding!

Questions for you to consider:

• What sort of Multimedia Business do you want to become – video, short film, photographic or audio studio?

• What skills do you need?

• Where could you get funding to help create your business?

• What problems might you encounter?

• What Stories would you want to tell? Indigenous stories?

• Who will be your target audience?
