Process - Roles

There are four roles:

Financial Manager
Creative Manager
Marketing Manager
Production Manager
 

Select the role that you think most suits your skills. Only one person can be in each job!

Financial Manager

As the Financial Manager, you are expected to keep track of the money and expenditure. To do this you will need to learn how to use a spreadsheet - Excel.

The other members in the group are to report to you about what their needs are, you are then to find the best prices and quality and buy their needs.

You need to record all your conversations including who you have rung, date and outcome.

You are to work closely with the others in your group.

Creative Manager

You are the ideas person! But that doesn't mean that the others in the group can't contribute too! You are to take the ideas and convert them into a product.

You are to draw, learn to use Photoshop (including the Video group) because you will need to make brochure about your product and other marketing materials.

The Video group will need to create their own Video cover, CD/Tape cover for the audio work, and be able to manipulate photos.

You are to work closely with the others in your group.

Marketing Manager

You are the person who knows the market! You are to investigate how you are going to sell this product, where you are going to sell it. You have to have good communication skills but remember you will be trained in these skills!

To help you present your product and sell it, you will need to learn PowerPoint Presentations.

Production Manager

You are the person who is to take control of the storeroom and its resources (not only keeping it clean but to have an inventory of your resources).
