Activity: Create a 5 minute PowerPoint Presentation to
showcase your product
Before you
can advertise your product, you need to explain it and
your business very well.
Download the
PowerPoint Presentation and use the Master Slide to
help you with your presentation. You can save the
PowerPoint onto your computer and then change it to suit
your Presentation. |
After you have
finished your PowerPoint Presentation, you will need to present
it to the Chamber of Commerce within your city. Set up a meeting
with your mentor and show him/her your presentation. Make any
adjustments that are needed.
You will then
need to look at how you are going to advertise your product or
service:
a. Local
newspaper?
b. Local radio
station?
c. Local TV
station?
d. National
newspapers? Magazines?
e. National TV?
How? Will you contact the ABC with a news story through Message
Stick or SBS? Or A Current Affair? You will need to discuss this
with your mentors.
To persuade
your potential advertisers and also buyers, you will need to
produce a brochure about yourself - yes remember to have a photo
of your group and your story ready!; and your product or
service.
Base your
brochure on the work you have put into the Presentation.
